Meet the Vestry: Nancy Morris
The Vestry plays an important role in the life and leadership of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. We’re excited to introduce you to the people who serve on our Vestry and help guide our church community. In this post, we’re pleased to introduce Vestry member Nancy Morris.
I was baptized, confirmed and married in the Anglican communion in Ontario, Canada.
As newlyweds we moved to Columbus 47 years ago and joined St Paul’s. Our children, Trevor and Libby, were baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s. They were active in Sunday School, youth group and as acolytes and lectors.
I am a graduate of The University of the South, School of Theology, a 4 year course called Education for Ministry which has informed my later years at St. Paul’s.
I have been on the Vestry several times, most recently as Junior Warden during our prior rectors time and on the most recent Search Committee when we brought Aelred to St. Paul’s. I currently serve as an Acolyte, lector, teller, Lay Eucharist Minister (LEV) and am a member of the Altar Guild. This year it is a privilege to be your Senior Warden as we work together with momentum to move St. Paul’s forward, with faith, into the future.
Whether you're searching for a church home or simply curious about St. Paul's, we'd love to welcome you. Learn more about our parish, worship services, and ministries at stpaulscolumbus.org.
