Parish Administrator

Jean Brown comes to St. Paul’s with a background in working as the Parish Administrator at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Bean Blossom since 2019.  Before her retirement in 2018, she was the Executive Assistant for the General Superior of the Sisters of Providence at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, IN. With many years’ experience assisting others, with clerical duties and a background in bookkeeping as well, she has found her niche and joy working with faith communities. Choir Director

Daniel Kane returned to Columbus, Indiana as our Choir Director in 2026 after spending his first four years in town serving First Baptist Church. Following a brief stint in Toledo, Ohio, during which he finished his MTS degree in Theology and the Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary, Daniel is excited to “cross the Thames” in support of the worshiping life at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church!

Priest

The Reverend Aelred Bernard Dean joined St. Paul's on December 27 2022, as Priest-in-Charge. On April 16, 2025 Br. Aelred accepted the call to serve as Rector at St. Paul’s.

He has a Master of Divinity from the University of the South in Sewanee, as well as a master's degree in social work and a bachelor's degree in religious studies.

Aelred’s spouse, Jim, is currently at IU Bloomington as Professor Emeritus.
